X-Ray

X-rays, or electromagnetic radiation, are exams used to evaluate internal body parts and help doctors look closely at the structure and health of specific areas. The precise X-ray system we use at DeKalb Regional Medical Center aids physicians with both radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, giving them the ability to diagnose conditions in the chest, spine, bone, digestive tract, uterus and bladder with greater accuracy and confidence.

With fluoroscopy capabilities, we’re also able to study the flow or motion in patients by looking at detailed images of dynamic processes, such as throat abnormalities.
