Nasal Valve Repair
At DeKalb Regional Hospital, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists, or Otolaryngologists, specialize in minimally invasive nasal valve repair, using a small implant designed to support the cartilage in the nose, helping the nasal airway stay open for breathing.
The implant is placed inside the wall of the nose to support the cartilage, reducing nasal airway obstruction symptoms and helping patients breathe better. The implant material absorbs over a period of 18-24 months.
